Carlos Josaphat Pinto de Oliveira op,  of the Province of Brazil and Emeritus Professor of Moral Theology at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, now teaches in the School of Dominican Theology, São Paulo, Brazil. His research has been mainly in the fields of social and communication ethics.
