Luis Vila-López op, of the Province of Aragon, has worked as an adviser to the Director General of Social Affairs in the Spanish Ministry of Labour and Social Security, dealing with research on poverty and social protection as well as European issues. After a period as full professor in the Complutense University, Madrid, he is now Principal of the Dominican School ‘San Vicente Ferrer’ in Valencia.

   

 

Salvador Carrasco is a professor of sociology in the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Barcelona and is responsible for the professional formation of professors in the same university. His doctoral thesis was on the social apostolate of Gerard and Gafo and his research is mainly in the area of unionism and social Catholicism in Spain.
